BA Programme in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE). Gothenburg University, Sweden.

Gothenburg University offers a 3-year (180ECTS credit) PPE program, which is a collaboration between the Department of Philosophy, Linguistics, and Theory of Science (Faculty of Humanities), the Department of Politics (Faculty of Social Sciences), and the Department of Economics (Gothenburg Business School).  The program leads to a BA in either philosophy or politics or economics, but students take all three subjects (one semester of each, two semesters of two, and three semesters of one). Whereas the program consists mainly of courses already offered by each of the three departments, it also contains two 7.5 credit courses that are tailor-made for the program and open only to PPE-students. The program furthermore offers an optional track consisting of e.g. guest lectures on PPE-related topics, meetings with former PPE-students, and lectures about personal development, CV-writing, and more, which lead to a special PPE-diploma. The main language of the program during the first three semesters is Swedish, but at higher levels several courses are taught in English.
